The Unit of Dr.P.N.Kantharia came into existence in  1996, Dr.P.N.Kantharia  inherited the Unit from the then Unit Head Dr.M.S.Bhavsar  on his Transfer to Bapunagar General Hospital in  1996 .Before becoming the Unit Head Dr.P.N.Kantharia,  was posted as Associate Professor and Unit Head at P.D.U. Medical College Rajkot
